About Us
African Power Coal Ltd (APCL) is a Zambian company founded in 2016 with the aim of exploiting Zambia’s natural resources, not limited to coal, copper, silver, zinc, tin and gold. APCL’s main assets comprise of a number of mineral licenses held in Southern, Central and Copperbelt provinces of Zambia.
Products
Current products available at the Mulungwa Coal Mine include Cobalt, Bulk, Peas, Nuts and Fine coal. As at last month, we produced 30,000T and we are targeting 50,000T. Before the end of the year, we will reach about 125,000T per month for us to hit 1,000,000T per annum.

Our Objectives
The company’s main objective is to maximize value to its shareholders through exploration, discovery and development of opportunities in base minerals within Zambia. It also demonstrates commitment to sustainability, both individually and as a firm, by actively participating in our community and integrating sustainable business practices wherever possible.

Majority of APCL’s activities are carried out in areas which are sensitive to the impact of mining operations. Due to this, the company has sought to minimize the negative impact our operations may have on the environment by adopting innovative technologies, continuously optimizing resource
utilization and decreasing waste.
